Outdoor Theatre: Sense and Sensibility

With Shaw's Corner as the backdrop, DOT Productions presents the Jane Austen classic: ‘Sense & Sensibility’

  • Booking essential

2025 marks the 250th anniversary year of Jane Austen, and we celebrate by delving into the world of one of her finest novels.

The Dashwood sisters have a very different approach to their love lives. Elinor has much more Sense, but Marianne has a great deal of Sensibility. Whilst uninterested in the affections of a middle-aged man Marianne just can’t help herself when a dashing young hero appears on the scene.

Hero’s, heartbreak and debonair villains, all topped off with a dashing duel, will remind you why Austen was a master of her craft.

A cast of five actors and DOTS ‘renowned comedic style make this comedy of manners a production not to be missed.

The performance starts at 7.00pm and ends at 9.00pm. Doors open at 6.30pm.

Tickets are £19.

IMPORTANT INFO: Please note this is an open-air production, please bring a low backed seat or floor rug. This ticket is non-refundable unless the show is cancelled due to dangerous weather. The performance will continue in the rain, please bring hooded raincoats and avoid using umbrellas as they block the view of others.
