Explore the villa after hours, before settling in for a live evening gladiator show.

Enjoy the rare opportunity to explore the site into the evening, with access extended beyond the usual 5pm closing time. Wander the villa, soak up the atmosphere, and interact with the Gladiators as the site remains open until 8:30pm. As dusk settles, life continues within a military camp, where soldiers gather, train, and take part in a ceremonial moment. But not everything goes to plan… Watch as events unfold in a dramatic live reenactment, where the discipline, skill and organisation of the Roman army are put to the test. This exclusive evening show offers a rare opportunity to experience the site outside of normal opening hours, bringing the sights and sounds of Roman Britain vividly to life.
Demonstrations: 5pm - 7pm Performance: 7.00–7.45pm | Site remains open until 8:30pm
