Step into the thrilling world of falconry at Hidcote’s Hawking Day, and come and see some magnificent birds of prey up close. With expert falconers on hand, you’ll learn about the art of hawking, the vital role these birds play in nature, and enjoy live flying displays and hands-on encounters throughout the day.
What to expect:
• All-day bird display featuring stunning species like the Merlin, Peregrine Falcon, Gyr Falcon, Harris Hawk, Bengal Eagle Owl, Barn Owl, and Little Owl.
• Live talks and demonstrations led by expert handlers who’ll share fascinating insights into falconry, conservation, and the natural behaviours of these birds.
• Hands-on experiences with birds such as the Harris Hawk and Barn Owl, under professional supervision.
• Educational materials and equipment provided to enhance your visit.
