Drop spin wool making

Join local artist, Kate, as she spins wool for her art installation at Newark Park in collaboration with Cotswold Sculpture Association this autumn.

Learn how local sheep's fleece would have been spun into wool in the early Tudor period. Have a go at spinning wool using a drop spindle, and weaving a small square of fabric.
