Join a guide on a free walk and talk around the outside of the house at Newark Park and learn how archaeology reports have revealed the history behind the Tudor Hunting Lodge and how much we can see today. Find out how an archaeological dig changed our understanding of the terrace and which questions are still unanswered.
Collect your free tickets from Visitor Reception upon arrival as there is a maximum limit to the group. Tickets are given on a first come, first served basis.

The paths are relatively flat, although there are a couple of steps down in the East Garden. There is step-free access to the garden if required.
- Meeting point
Please meet 5 minutes before the start of the walk by the hut outside the house entrance. Collect your tickets from Visitor Reception in advance of your walk.
