Bug hotel making at Newark Park
Looking to invite some bugs into your garden? Why not build your own Bug Hotel?
- Booking essential
- Admission applies
Join volunteer, Graham for a fun, hands-on bug hotel workshop to encourage wildlife into your garden. We'll provide everything you need, including the bug hotel structure, materials, chicken wire and gloves (though you’re welcome to bring your own) and we will guide you step-by-step to build your bug hotel using lovely bug-friendly natural materials like bark, bamboo, pine cones and twigs. Each bug hotel takes around 15 minutes to create and booking in advance is required to secure your place, but as these are drop-in workshops you can take part any time between 11am and 2pm.
Each £7 ticket covers the materials and instruction for one bug hotel. If you want to make more simply book additional tickets. Please remember to bring your ticket with you on the day.
