Summer of Play - Bunting Workshop
Decorate canvas flags to create a custom line of bunting. All materials provided. Sewn together while you play.
- Booking not needed
- Free event
Come to Tinkley Gate, Woodchester Park to illustrate and decorate your own bunting flag with whatever design you would like.
The workshop will be held from 11am - 3pm on the 26th and 28th August. Come at any point in that slot to begin your flags.
£1 per canvas flag, up to 5 flags in one row. Bring the family and make a line of bunting with a flag decorated by each of you! Payable by cash or by card in the cafe.
Fabric pens will be provided for decorating with. Your flags will be sewn into a line by the workshop host for you to take home while you enjoy the sunshine and some other Summer of Play activities.
All to compliment our "Colours in Nature" bunting trail, a collaborative exhibition made by neighbours, friends and local community groups. Each person decorated a flag with "what nature means to you" which we have hung throughout our Orchard to celebrate Gloucestershire's colours in nature.
Take a walk through the Orchard to see the trail up every day until the 1st of September to get inspired to create your own own flags.

- Other
The event is at the Tinkley Gate entrance to Woodchester Park. There are two car parks for Woodchester Park. One is called Buckholt and the other is called Tinkley Gate. The brown signs direct you to Buckholt rather than Tinkley Gate. If you have access to google maps, then typing in "Tinkley Gate National Trust Car Park" will take you to the correct entrance. If you follow Tinkley Lane between Nympsfield and Nailsworth, then look out for two colourful banners on the same side of the road that mark the entrance to Tinkley Gate Car Park.
