Remembrance Service 2025
Tue 11 Nov, 10.45-11.30am: In a quiet corner of Hampshire, everyone is welcome to this annual Remembrance Service in the orchard in front of the chapel. Afterwards tea and coffee will be available for a donation in the Garden of Reflection.

At the only UK monument to First World War soldiers who died after 1918, you are invited to this church service to remember the fallen. The service will be led by an ex Army Padre and National Trust volunteer. There will be a traditional church service retiring collection.
If you would like to lay a wreath or wooden cross please contact us on 01635 278 394 so we can arrange this for you. Entry is free for this event but please bring your National Trust membership card if you have one.
This annual Remembrance Service will take place in the orchard in front of the chapel. Afterwards tea and coffee will be available for a £2.50 donation in the Garden of Reflection behind the chapel. This can be paid by card or cash and monies will be split between the National Trust and Royal British Legion.

Children are welcome with adult supervision.
- Meeting point
Please park opposite the Chapel in the National Trust car park. The service will take place in the orchard in front of the chapel.
- What to bring and wear
Please dress for the weather for this outdoor Remembrance event. We'll be standing on grass.
- Accessibility
This event will be held on moderately bumpy grass about 4 metres from a hard gravel driveway. There is an accessible toilet to the right of the Chapel in the back garden. We will be standing for this service, but you are welcome to bring a camping stool to sit on if you need this. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you have any queries about accessibility. A hearing loop is available.
