- Free event
Requiem Mass being held ahead of Remembrance Sunday to honour the dead of the First World War and subsequent campaigns as well as remembering friends and family of The Church of the Ascension and Sandham. This will be a said Eucharist offered for the repose of the souls of the deceased, combining special prayers, liturgical elements to honour and pray for the dead. As Sandham is officially dedicated as The Oratory of All Souls, the mass would be offered for those who have gone before us and who are remembered in the paintings on the Chapel walls.
