Summer Memories Meadow
In moments of grief, nature can hold us in ways words cannot; a total of 400 metal feathers, many in memory of a loved one, are displayed here on The Vyne’s South Drive until early July thanks to a collaboration with St Michael's Hospice.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
St. Michael’s Hospice is dedicated to supporting people across North Hampshire who are living with a life‐limiting illness, facing the end of life, or experiencing bereavement.
These treasured keepsakes offer a gentle moment of pause and a chance to reflect, remember, or simply be. Following ‘Summer Memories’, a celebration event, on 12 July at Worting House these will be taken home to keep and display.
Rural spaces can bring a sense of steadiness in the middle of life’s challenges, and we hope visitors feel held by the natural beauty and tranquillity of the gardens as they encounter this installation.
