Join Tansy Downman for a gentle guided walk through Emmetts Garden, inviting you to slow down, engage the senses and experience the restorative intelligence of the autumn landscape.

This walk offers the chance to connect more deeply with the sights, sounds and textures of the season, and to explore how nature’s rhythms can support wellbeing.

About the walk leader: Tansy Dowman is an award-winning Forest Bathing practitioner, TEDx speaker and outdoor wellbeing facilitator specialising in Nature Connection, mindful walking and workplace wellbeing. Through her work, Tansy helps people reconnect with themselves and the natural world through calming, sensory-led experiences designed to reduce stress, support wellbeing and encourage a deeper sense of presence and connection. She has delivered experiences for corporate organisations, heritage venues, community groups and wellbeing events across the UK.

This walk will venture through Emmetts Garden's surrounding woodland. This consists of a variety of uneven terrains and inclines. Accessible toilet available by the Visitor Centre and the Tea Rooms.

Meeting point

Please head to the Visitor Centre on arrival with ticket confirmation.

Content aimed at an adult audience but children are welcome.

Please dress for the autumn weather. Takes place outside.
