Get in the Christmas spirit by wandering through the grand courtyards at Knole, decorated with trees and garlands. There's even a giant wreath with Knole as the backdrop for a festive selfie stop!

Step into the Great Hall to find a magnificent, decorated tree and centuries-old long table adorned with decorations in rich, traditional Christmas colours. Look out for the Christmas post boxes hidden in the showrooms as part of the free children's spotter trail.

Explore the parkland and discover Beatrix Potter's original Christmas Card designs in a charming trail with plenty of activities along the way. At the end of the Beatrix Potter Christmas Card trail post your Christmas wish in our festive post box and receive a cuddly bunny as a Christmas gift.

Normal admission applies. Pre-booking admission is essential during school holidays and at weekends (this includes National Trust members and free admission pass holders). Outdoor trail is £6 per child purchased from the Visitor Centre (includes prize).

Showrooms and Gatehouse Tower are open 11am-4pm, last entry 3.30pm. The courtyards, shops and Brewhouse Cafe are open 10am-4pm (last orders in the Cafe 3.30pm).

Meeting point

On arrival please go to the Visitor Centre, which is located in Green Court.

What to bring and wear

The showrooms can be cold so we advise wearing layers.

Accessibility

The Brewhouse Cafe, Great Hall, Orangery and Visitor Centre are all step-free. The majority of the showrooms are upstairs. There is an accessible toilet in Green Court and in the Conversation Studio, opposite the Brewhouse Cafe.

Normal admission charges to Knole apply. Pre-book admission per person (not per vehicle) to guarantee entry. Parking is free with all admission tickets. Tickets can be booked up to four weeks in advance with new slots released every Thursday.
