SE Kent Astronomical Society
Interested in stargazing? We have a special visit from the SE Kent Astronomical Society, who will bring some of their lovely telescopes and show us how astronomy can be enjoyed safely in the daytime too.
- Booking not needed
- Free event
Come and discover some of the delights of the day and night sky as our friends from South East Kent Astronomical Society bring their equipment and photographs to entertain us. Ever thought about buying a telescope, but didn't know what to choose? Now is your opportunity to find out. SEKAS was formed in 1972, and they have over 100 members who share a common interest of the heavenly bodies. We're looking forward to a fascinating day, and we hope you will join us. If the weather is bad, there will still be lots to see as the astronomers share their photographs and talk about their equipment and achievements with us in the Marconi Hut, next to the toilet block.
