Join a Garden Volunteer on a tour through the walled garden and orchard to learn more about the apples grown at Acorn Bank. The 175 varieties of apple growing under the care of the garden team start to ripen at the end of August, with the latest being picked around the middle of October. In these tours, you'll learn about some of the most interesting characters in the collection such as Irish Peach , Lemon Square and Pitmaston Pineapple – but don’t be fooled by their names!
