Summer of Play

Absorb little ones in the nature and beauty of Acorn Bank this summer.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Absorb little ones in nature, and take a self-guided trail to tick a few off your 50 Things list. Enjoy traditional games at the front of the house and on the ha-ha and use rubbing plaques to discover the flora and fauna of the garden and estate.

The trail will reveal the fairy houses and soundscape installations in the woodland, and the dolls' vegetable garden in the walled garden.

Once you've completed the trail, you'll find traditional games to play at the front of the House and on the ha-ha.

Discover more about wildlife and nature here with a free toolkit, available from the Shepherd’s Hut when you arrive. Toolkits include a variety of spotter sheets, magnifying glasses, mirrors to look underneath things, tape measures and clickers.

Summer of Play is sponsored by Starling Bank.
