Easter Egg hunt at Acorn Bank
This spring, take flight on a world of adventure at Acorn Bank on an Easter trail.

Join us for a family-friendly Easter trail with fun activities for you to do along the way. Complete the trail and earn your chocolate egg at the end. The trail takes place between Saturday 28 March - Sunday 12 April 2026 (closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays), from 10.30am to 5pm, with last entry at 4pm, so come along and explore the beautiful grounds of Acorn Bank. Prices are £3.50 per trail which includes an Easter trail sheet, bunny ears and a dairy or vegan/Free From* chocolate egg.
*Suitable for people with milk, egg, gluten, peanut and tree nut allergies.
This year’s theme is all about birds! How many eggs will you spot in the trees? You’ll be tested on your bird knowledge, and you can make our own bird species name too.

Please make sure children are accompanied by an adult.
- Meeting point
Head to the Shepherds Hut, just up the path from the car park, to purchase your trail.
- What to bring and wear
Please dress for the weather – whether that be waterproofs and wellies or sunglasses and a hat!
- Accessibility
Drop-off point at garden entrance. Separate mobility parking, 50 yards. Adapted toilet in garden courtyard. Tramper available to hire free of charge. Hearing loop available at welcome point. Some accessible paths in garden but mainly rough. Woodland pathways are uneven and undulating. Map of accessible route in grounds available on the main Acorn Bank webpage.
