Browse the shelves of the second-hand bookshop at Acorn Bank, stocked full of exciting reads and more to take home after your visit. You'll find it on the ground floor of the house, to your right as you enter the main doors.

What can you buy at the Acorn Bank bookshop?

There's a wide range of fiction, non-fiction (including cookery books) and children's books to buy. You can also choose from a selection of DVDs, CDs and videogames.

The second-hand bookshop is run by a group of dedicated volunteers. All proceeds stay with Acorn Bank, so your new page-turner will help the team to look after this special place.

Donate your books

If you've had a clear-out recently and have some good-quality second-hand books, CDs, DVDs, videogames or jigsaw puzzles that you'd like to donate, please drop them into the Shepherd's Hut, which is on the left just before you enter the house. Thank you.
