Eating at Fell Foot

Whether you're looking for a yummy breakfast to start your day, lunch after a morning's exploring, a delicious ice cream to cool you down mid-adventure, or wood fired pizza in the evening, you'll be well catered for here at Fell Foot.

The Boathouse Café 

Open daily the Boathouse Café serves a range of pastries, cakes, sandwiches and daily specials. Children's pick and mix lunch boxes are available. There’s dog-friendly indoor and outdoor seating. Pull up a chair and take in the sights, sounds of the lake.  

Ice cream parlour

Just next to the Boathouse Cafe, you’ll find the ice cream parlour with a great selection of cones and tubs of delicious Northern Bloc ice cream. Open from 2-4pm weekdays and 12-4pm Saturday & Sunday until September. 

Street food vans 

From 22 July-30 September Fiery Mamma Pizza or Mac’a’licious food van will be at Fell Foot on various days from 3pm-8pm. The schedule changes weekly and there will only be one van on site at any time. Please check their socials for the weekly schedule.

Fiery Mammas Pizza

Enjoy delicious wood-fired pizzas made using a slow-fermented dough, San Marzano tomatoes, and locally sourced toppings where available. Fiery Mammas Pizza offer a rotating menu that caters to dietary preferences, including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. Look out for their beautifully converted vintage horsebox.

Mac’a’licious

Gourmet mac and cheese with tasty toppings such as BBQ pulled pork & crispy Onions, Sriracha & Jalapeno (v) or Crispy Garlic & Parmesan Crumb. Specialising in loaded mac and cheese with bold flavours, they also serve barista-style hot drinks, luxury hot chocolates, and locally made cakes. Everything is served from their vibrant, eye-catching converted trailer.

Bring a picnic to Fell Foot

If you'd rather bring your own food with you, picnics are always welcome, but remember that barbecues and gas stoves aren't allowed Make sure to take your rubbish home with you to help look after this special place. Thank you.
