Beatrix Potter's birthday

Celebrate Beatrix Potter's birthday in our orchard.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Beatrix Potter was born as Helen Beatrix Potter in London on 28 July 1866. We'll be celebrating the anniversary of her birth over three days by writing letters to Beatrix in the orchard.

Play games, have a hot drink or some food from Joeys, and enjoy the garden and surrounding landscapes that inspired illustrations in The Tale of Tom Kitten, The Tale of Jemima Puddle-Duck, and more.
