House Taster Tours

Meet some of the key characters in Sizergh’s history, delving into 800 years of history.

On this free 45-minute, whistle-stop tour, you’ll learn about some of the key moments and people in Sizergh’s 800 year story. Make your way through the house as our knowledgeable volunteers tell the tales of Sizergh’s trials and tribulations.

Meeting point

Please arrive at Reception, where tickets to the tours will be first-come first-served.

Accessibility

Powered mobility vehicles can be accommodated on the ground floor of the house. They cannot be accommodated throughout the rest of the house due to steps, narrow corridors and restricted turning circles. Access to the first floor is up 26 steps, each around 15cm high. There are handrails either side of the staircase. Unfortunately, there is no ramp or lift available.
