Summer of Play at Wray 2025

Summer of Play at Wray kicks off in June and stretches across the summer holidays. Designed for families and children of all ages, Wray’s outdoor spaces will become zones of activity.

Get into the competitive spirit with classic lawn games, get into a spin with our range of hoops and other fun outdoor games and activities dotted around the grounds.

Further afield, walk through the woods and paddle on the shingle shores of Windermere.

Let your imagination run wild with natural play at Wray this summer.

This event is free but parking charges apply to non-National Trust members.

Daily from 28 June - 31 August

Kit will be available for play between 10am-4pm

The castle at Wray is closed in 2025 due to a major refurbishment project but the car park, cafe, facilities and wider grounds and parkland are all fully open.
