Eboracum Baroque present a varied programme of baroque music to enjoy in the beautiful gardens at Canons Ashby. It includes operatic arias by Handel and Vivaldi alongside instrumental music by Purcell and Corelli performed on baroque instruments.
There will also be instrumental music for the trumpet and recorder by other composers from the time. All performed on period instruments in what promises to be an eclectic mix of music. Relax in these picturesque surroundings with a picnic, or buy yourself something from the tea-kiosk. Make sure to bring your own picnic chairs or blankets.
The tea-kiosk will be open until the end of the interval. The shop will only be open until 5pm, so ensure you arrive early if you would like to visit. Please do not bring any picnic chairs or tables which may damage the garden, and please take your rubbish home with you.
This event will go ahead whatever the weather, unless it's unsafe to do so. Please dress for the weather, whatever it brings.
This event is not suitable for dogs except assistance dogs. No BBQs and no smoking on site. £19 adults, £12 children (5-17 years), under 5s free
