Head over to the medieval Priory Church and browse a wide selection of books which have been donated by our supporters. We have all genres from crime to cakes, new and old. Stock up for your summer holidays whilst raising funds for our special place. From 24 May - 1 June from 10am until 4pm.
We recommend bringing cash to make it easier to buy books. Please take care on the public road on the way to the church.

Families are welcome
- Meeting point
Start your day at Visitor Reception and then follow directions to the church. Watch out for traffic when crossing the road.
- What to bring and wear
Dress for the weather. You will need to cross the grass paddock to reach the church.
- Accessibility
The church is accessed via a grassy and woodchipped paddock which is uneven in places and sometimes quite muddy. You will need to cross a road to get to the church. There is a permanent threshold ramp to the entrance of the church. Assistance dogs only. Please contact us if you have any accessibility queries.

Scratch your medieval history itch with a guided visit of the priory church and the restored medieval stew ponds: an area not accessible to the public without a guide. There are 20 spaces on this walk to sign up on the day.

Classical recorder performance in the Priory Church
Enjoy beautiful classical recorder music in the Priory Church, performed by the Nene Consort. There’s no extra charge or formal ticketing: feel free to pop in and out as you wish or take a pew and enjoy the whole hour. Normal admission applies.
