Winter at Sizergh

There’s winter wonder for the whole family at the gateway to the Lake District this year. From 21 November - 24 December, make memories with loved ones at Sizergh.

Christmas at Little Moreton Hall

Take a step back into the past and celebrate Christmas traditions old and new as Deck the Halls returns to Little Moreton Hall for its final year. See the Tudor house decorated for the season, look out for robins inside and out, and listen to music of the past on weekends in December.

Winter walks

Winter has a beauty of its own, with the landscape transformed by dustings of frost, blankets of snow and the golden glow of low sunlight. Through leafless trees, you’ll see new views and distant horizons. Wildlife is easier to spot in the stillness of a winter woodland and, after a long walk on a chilly day, there’s the promise a cosy hot chocolate and treat in the café.
