Come and explore Gawthorpe's textile treasures with a focus on patchwork. Whether you are an experienced quilter looking for more inspiration or a beginner who wants tips on how to get started, our quilt and patchwork specialists will be able to help. Our experts will have examples of their own fabulous quilts, patchwork and other handmade items on show, and they can demonstrate and talk through the many different sewing techniques and skills involved. Giving you inspiration and ideas for your own.

You can also pick up more ideas in our second-hand sewing book sale and see the displays of Gawthorpe Textiles Collection across the first floor of the Hall.

Included in admission to the Hall. £7 adults, children FREE.

This event is on the first floor of Gawthorpe Hall, accessed by the main staircase. Due to the historic nature of the building, there is no lift.
