Over the centuries many deliberate markings were carved into the Hall’s timber frame, which are known as apotropaic marks. Please be aware that there is a moderate distance walk from the Visitor Reception Building to the site of the tour at Speke Hall. Please be aware that the second floor of the house is currently not accessible for wheelchairs, if you have any access requirements, please let us know in advance and we will ensure to accommodate your visit as much as possible.

Meet at the Visitor Reception Building and you will be guided to the site of the tour at the front of the House.
