Stars of Wonder: Christmas 2025 at Ham House
Enjoy the festive season at Ham House and Garden, 29 November 2025 to 4 January 2026. Discover star-themed decorations, inspired by a globe in our collection. Plus, family-friendly activities, Christmas shopping and seasonal treats in our café.

Get into the festive spirit with a visit to Ham House, sumptuously decorated with stars for Christmas 2025, inspired by our celestial globe which returned from conservation this year. Take in twinkling candlelight and fairy lights, Christmas trees and aromatic greenery as you discover the stunning Stuart interiors. A sugar banquet as well as star decorations made by our volunteers will also be on display.
Family-friendly activities inside the house, open 12–4 (last entry 3.30):
– Follow a spotter trail around the rooms as you take in Christmas trees and decorations.
– Discover a festive reading nook in the Back Parlour, then head below stairs for more activities.
– Little ones can try dressing up and write a letter to the North Pole.
– Hear merry songs as you explore the rooms and discover a sugar banquet display in the historic kitchen.
Take a winter stroll in the gardens, open 10–4 (last entry 3.30) and browse Christmas gifts, including our winter home accessories and fashion, in our shop, open 10.30–3.30.
The Orangery Café is open 10–4 daily and serves light lunches, warming drinks and snacks.
Please note, Ham House and Garden is closed on 24 and 25 December.
