London Rivers Week 2025: River Dipping and River Art
Join Thames21 for a family craft and river dipping experience to celebrate London Rivers Week 2025

River dipping and nature-inspired art activities aim to get children enthused and inspired by the River Wandle and its surrounding ecosystem.
Children will help to create a bespoke piece of art that will form part of a larger artwork. Your art pieces will form part of a larger banner to display in the park after the event.
All are welcome. All U18s must be accompanied by an adult.
Free. Book in advance or drop in at any time.

The basics
- Suitability
Children 5-11 years old, an adult must be present.
- Meeting point
Please meet at the White Bridge lawn.
- What to bring and wear
Please dress appropriately for the weather on the day, and bring water to stay hydrated.

It is not possible for children to access the river at this location. Photos and video footage will be taken at this event and used by Thames21 for promotional purposes (including but not limited to printed materials, social media, newsletters and the website) and potentially shared with our external partners and funders. If you do not wish to be pictured, please speak to a member of the team on the day
