'Community Tales' Storytelling and Craft: The Wawel Dragon: The old Polish Legend, Sat 18 Oct

Discover the Polish folktale The Wawel Dragon, a legendary story from Kraków, then create your own fire-breathing dragon craft to take home. For ages 3+.

  • Booking essential

This autumn, join us for the fourth instalment of our Community Tales series – a morning of storytelling and creativity led by the Polish Family Association. Together we’ll explore The Wawel Dragon, a much-loved Polish legend from the city of Kraków, followed by a simple dragon-themed craft for children to enjoy.

The Polish Family Association was founded in 2007 and has since grown into a registered charity supporting Polish and Eastern European communities in South West London. With almost two decades of experience, they have built deep trust within local families, delivering bilingual projects and community events across Merton.

Children will enjoy an engaging, interactive session designed to celebrate stories as a way to connect, create and learn together.

Two sessions are available: 10.00–11.00am and 11.30am–12.30pm

Children must be accompanied by an adult. Booking essential.
