  • Most walkways are over 180cm wide
  • Seating is available
  • The most accessible entrance has a slight ramp/slope and a door permanently held open
  • Three floors accessed via stairs and many spaces have stepped access
  • Virtual House tour available

Getting around the Garden and Park

  • Areas with step-free level access but also areas with slopes and uneven ground
  • Benches situated along paths
  • Majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users
  • Range of surfaces across the site including grass, compacted earth, tarmac, compacted gravel, bonded gravel and paving stones
