Global Village at Rainham Hall

Global Village presents a fantastic free family day out at Rainham Hall with arts, culture and community.

Come and enjoy acrobatics from India’s Circus Raj; throw some shapes at a Bollywood dance session, be transported to far off places with Usifu Jalloh, the storyteller from Sierra Leone; and treat yourself to henna hand painting. Fabulous music from the Heritage Brass Band from India. Global Garden tasting and great Games from Around the Globe and Global Book Tent for children and families. Village Voices will be collecting your micro stories. Local community groups will also be joining the day with craft stalls. Free entry on the day to Rainham Hall itself. Bring along a picnic or use the beautiful cafe for ice creams, drinks and cakes. In partnership with Essex Cultural Diversity Project and with support from Havering London

Accessible path around the garden and lift available to the hayloft.

Meeting point

Activities take place across the site. Entry to the garden via the Wennington Road entrance.

Suitability for children

All ages welcome, with adult supervision.

What to bring and wear

Activities will be in the garden unless weather is particularly wet when performances and workshops will move to the hayloft.
