Join Nick for a 2.5-hour adventure through Gibside’s ever-changing landscape. Nick’s wealth of knowledge brings the hidden world of insects, mysterious fungi, and ancient plant folklore to life, giving you a deeper appreciation of the land and its inhabitants. You might take part in a wildlife survey or even spot roe deer.
Adapted to the season and the weather, every walk offers something unique, so whether you're a nature enthusiast, outdoor explorer, or just curious to see the world differently, this is an experience not to be missed!
This walk is aimed at adults, though interested older children are welcome. Free, but booking is recommended as spaces are limited. Normal admission applies.
