Booking is essential to attend this event by emailing info@morethanarun.co.uk. As part of this walk, you will have access to the house and gardens.
Starting and finishing at Ormesby Hall, the route of the walk will pass through the Hall’s parklands to Stewart Park, touching parts of the original Marton and returning to Ormesby Hall ambling through fields and woods. We’ll point out features and facts of interest taking the opportunity to reminisce with your fellow walkers enjoying the locality and outdoors.
After the walk there will be opportunity to visit the mansion at Ormesby Hall, wander through the garden and stop by the cafe. If you can, we’d appreciate a donation to the walk on a ‘pay as you feel’ basis (suggested donation £3), but please do not let this put you off coming if you are not in a position to do so.
The walk is approximately 3 miles long and expected to take 3 hours, including a short comfort break at Stewart Park. As is typical for this country, we ask that you wear suitable footwear and outdoor clothing.
Car parking in the main car park, off Ladgate Lane, TS3 0SR. Meeting at the Visitor Welcome Hut.
