Lace in Place at The Argory
Step into the elegance of a bygone era with Lace in Place, a unique exhibition celebrating the intricate beauty and cultural heritage of lace.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
To celebrate the completion of a conservation project on the mansion’s historic lace curtains, The Argory is hosting an exhibition 'Lace in Place'.
In collaboration with Lace Guild NI, we are proud to showcase a stunning collection of handcrafted lace pieces, each reflecting the artistry and dedication of skilled makers. These works are thoughtfully displayed throughout the mansion, offering visitors a rare opportunity to see lace in context.
As you tour the house, immerse yourself in the history of the MacGeough Bond family, whose legacy is woven into the very fabric of The Argory.
The exhibition will be open 12pm to 4pm every Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday in September via guided tours.
