Coptic Stitch Bookbinding Workshop

As part of Belton’s Literary Festival, join in with a fascinating half-day introduction to the world of book binding.

Ideal for beginners, this workshop will guide you through the process of creating your own handmade book using a Coptic stitch bind. With hard bound covers and exposed decorative stitching, this is a simple yet versatile method of bookbinding. The finished books can also lay open flat making them ideal for journals and sketchbooks! All equipment and materials will be provided.

This workshop will take place in the Old School Village Hall in Belton village. Please make sure to arrive 10 minutes before the start of the session to allow time to walk from the main Belton carpark to the Old School Village Hall. There is very limited street parking outside of the venue and spaces there are not guaranteed.
