An Introduction to Belton's Military History Guided Walk

A unique opportunity to discover the military history of Londonthorpe and Bellmount. Visit the war graves at Londonthorpe church and explore Bellmount Plantation to capture the scale of contribution to the WWI & WWII war time efforts.

The National Trust and the Woodland Trust, supported by National Lottery Players through the National Lottery Heritage Fund, are working together to reconnect Grantham to its historic landscape.

Visit the war graves at Londonthorpe Church and explore Bellmount Plantation to see the scale of the area's contribution to the war effort during both the First and Second World War.

Booking is essential as places are limited. Distance: 9km.

No dogs on this walk. The route includes entering Belton's Deer Sanctuary, where the priority remains keeping the environment solely for the purpose of the deer and grazing sheep.

This walk will start at Londonthorpe Woods car park.
