Christmas in the Mansion: Textures and Treasures
Add a little sparkle to your visit this festive season and wander through spectacular rooms decorated with twinkling lights and showstopping trees.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Belton is celebrating the magic of materials in its collection this Christmas. Textures and Treasures will highlight the hidden gems both in the mansion and across the estate with sumptuous displays putting our objects in the spotlight.
Children can join Father Christmas's team of elves, searching for missing golden objects from a present list, all of which have been crafted by a team of volunteers.
On your approach to the mansion, you’ll discover Santa’s sleigh within the West Courtyard. Custom built by maintenance volunteers, this sleigh, made accessible with space for a wheelchair user, provides a photo opportunity for family and loved ones, with the mansion as a festive background.
Entry is included in National Trust membership or normal admission to Belton. There is no pre-booking required for entry to the mansion.
