Stranger Folk at Belton

A crack has formed between our world and the spirit world, and all sorts of old folklore creatures have escaped. Download the Stranger Folk app and work together to close the gap between worlds as you explore the estate.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

This Halloween, a crack is forming between our world and the mystical other side! Will you answer the call and close the rift before mischief turns to mayhem!? As the spirit and human worlds collide, sneaky goblins, cunning boggarts and Stranger Folk are slipping through the crack to stir up trouble! Gather your team, harness the elements and seal the rift before the creatures take hold.

Stranger Folk is a brand new digital adventure to enjoy together as a family and is aimed at age 7+ (families are welcome to use their own judgement on whether younger members can join in).

Download the free Stranger Folk app, available on The App Store and Google Play, to communicate with a magical crone who'll lead you on your journey at Belton. Follow her directions carefully to seal the crack between worlds before it’s too late.

To take part, head to the Information Hub on arrival to find the app's password.

Please be respectful of the historic features and buildings on the estate and gardens.
