Our popular dog-friendly café, Central Bark, is having a refresh and will be temporarily closed for refurbishment for 3 weeks from Monday 13 April.

The much-loved space, a firm favourite with dog walkers and their four-legged companions, will undergo a full refresh to improve both the look and feel of the café. Works will include repairs and repainting to the exterior of the building, along with internal redecoration, new flooring and updated furniture.

The improvements are designed to ensure Central Bark continues to offer a welcoming and comfortable space for visitors and their dogs to relax and refuel after exploring the park.

Central Bark will reopen in early May with an exact date being confirmed as soon as possible.

Finding an alternative

During the closure period, alternative options will be available. Glasshouse Brew, located in the walled kitchen garden, will open daily, serving a range of drinks and light snacks. In addition, the Old Stables, next to the main café in the Turning Yard, will be open to provide extra indoor seating for visitors with dogs.

Thank you for your support

The team at Clumber Park would like to thank visitors for their patience and understanding while these improvements are carried out, and look forward to welcoming everyone back to Central Bark very soon.
