- Suitability
This event welcomes children accompanied by adults.
- Meeting point
The front field is where all of the activities are. Meeting up with family or friends, arrange a meeting point as phone signal can be poor. The Tipi on the field is a good spot
- What to bring and wear
Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for the weather. We recommend bringing a blanket or chairs as these will be limited on the field. You might want to bring a picnic too.
- Accessibility
Some of these activities are accessible and we have created areas within the Play Zones that support wheelchair users and other accessible needs.
- Other
We encourage visitors to bring a picnic but kindly ask that you take your rubbish home. As a charity this really helps with keeping down our waste disposal costs. There are no bins on the field to reduce the build up of flies and wasps, the closest bins are located near the main cafe. Dogs are always welcome but should be kept on a lead on the Summer of Play field and to not allow them to climb on the strawbales. The bats, balls etc for activites will be available from around 10am each day and will be collected in and packed away around 4pm. If you want to continue to play after this time, you are more than welcome to bring your own ball etc.
