Heritage and Horticulture Amble

*August's Amble starts from Lake Brew (Hardwick village)* Enjoy a stroll around Clumber's core visitor area, discovering snippets of the estate's ducal history and seasonal highlights. Each month has a different theme and route, no longer than 3km.

20th July - My leopard and other animals: a menagerie of ducal pets

17th August - Ploughing through the ages: Clumber's farming history (Meet at Lake Brew, Hardwick village)

21st September - Political Prime Movers: the dukes in politics

19th October - Venerable Oaks: Clumber's oak trees plus apple tasting

16th November - Ornaments and Opulence: treasures once within Clumber

21st December - Flowers and Flutters: the 6th Duke and Duchess

Accessibility

The route is mostly accessible with chosen paths being flat. However, some paths may become uneven and an essential companion is recommended where possible. Please email clumberprogramming@nationaltrust.org.uk for more info.
