Three session watercolour workshops with Landscape Artist Ian Davenport
Develop your watercolour skills within the beautiful surrounds of Clumber Park with tuition from renowned landscape artist Ian Davenport. This is a three session course.

Join us at Clumber Park to learn a contemporary take on capturing the outdoor landscape through the medium of watercolour. You will create vibrant, expressive watercolours that record your response to the beautiful landscape at Clumber. This course runs over three consecutive Wednesdays (6th, 13th and 20th of May 2026) Delivered by local artist, Ian Davenport, this 3 day workshop will take you through the process from composition to building up the layers to complete a finished watercolour. The workshops are suitable for both beginners and improving artists and includes a welcome hot drink before heading out into the park to sketch. See Ian's work here: https://www.iandavenportart.com/
The £75 fee covers the cost of the three days Wednesday 6th, Wednesday 13th and Wednesday 20th of May All materials will be provided.

The workshops starts in The Parsonage located within the main visitor facilities at Clumber Park. You will then go out into the grounds of Clumber Park for further instruction.
- What to bring and wear
Dress suitably for the weather with sensible footwear.
- Accessibility
The workshops will take place outdoors but will stick to accessible routes and areas if required.
