This is a self-guided mystery-solving walk designed especially for adults. As you explore the beautiful grounds of Clumber Park, you’ll follow a trail of cryptic clues, suspicious characters, and hidden evidence. The priceless Hope Diamond has vanished — and all signs point to foul play. Can you piece together the clues, crack the case, and uncover the culprit before time runs out? Perfect for couples, friends, and anyone who loves a good whodunit with a twist of outdoor adventure.

This trail is designed for adults. Children may find the clues challenging.
- Meeting point
Follow the direction arrows from the Cow pasture Carpark towards the main visitor area and pop into the brand new information point, the 'Duke's garage'.
- What to bring and wear
Please dress suitably for all weathers as the trail covers areas across the park.
- Accessibility
We’ve designed the trail to stay within the core area of Clumber Park wherever possible, to help ensure it is accessible for all visitors. Please note that a small number of clue boards may be set slightly back from paths, including in uneven or woodland areas. If you have any accessibility concerns — just speak to a member of staff when purchasing your trail booklet.
- Other
The trail booklet can be purchased from the new information point (The Duke's garage) for £3.50 from 10:00- 16:00. The last trail to be purchased at 15:00. If you are joining us later in the day then you may be given your egg at the start of your trail.
