Visitors can watch lace being made, learn about tools and techniques, and explore the cultural history of this endangered craft.
This event will offer visitors the chance to:
● Watch bobbin lace being made
● Handle tools and materials
● Learn about regional lace traditions
● Meet local lacemakers and heritage craft advocates
● Discover how to get involved in preserving this endangered skill (from learning the craft, being able to identity and preserve lace artefacts)

Demonstrations will be taking place in the second-hand bookshop on the ground floor of Grantham House.
- Accessibility
The demonstrations will be taking place on the ground floor which is level with no steps to navigate. There is an accessible toilet on site as well as limited blue badge parking spaces which can be reserved in advance by calling 01476 285588.
