Meet the Author - Alison Bruce

Come along and meet acclaimed author Alison Bruce, best known for her compelling crime novels set in Cambridge.

Alison has written eleven novels and two works of non-fiction. Her debut, Cambridge Blue, was praised by Publishers Weekly as an “assured debut” and introduced detective DC Gary Goodhew, alongside her distinctive Cambridge setting. She went on to write six further novels in the DC Goodhew series, before exploring psychological thrillers with I Did It for Us and The Moment Before Impact. More recently, Alison has launched the Ronnie Blake series, including Crash and Burn, featuring a special investigations unit known as the DEAD Team. Alison lives just outside Cambridge and has been shortlisted twice for the Crime Writers’ Association Dagger in the Library award. Today, she divides her time between Lincolnshire and Cambridge. Join us for two free, engaging sessions during the day:

1.30pm – In conversation with Alison Bruce Hear about her latest detective series, her creative inspiration, and the research behind her writing.
