Bird feeder workshop at Mablethorpe Library

Drop in and join us at Mablethorpe Library to celebrate Green Libraries Week. Discover how to make your own bird feeder to encourage wildlife at home.

We’ll guide you step-by-step on how to make fat cakes for your bird feeder, where to place it, and how to care for it.

No experience necessary, just bring an old cup or mug and your enthusiasm, and we'll provide everything else.

This drop-in activity can be enjoyed by all ages, supported by National Trust volunteers.

What to bring and wear

Please bring with you an old cup or mug and wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.

Mablethorpe Library is wheelchair accessible. If you have any specific access requirements, please let us know. We want to make sure everyone can enjoy the experience.

As part of this experience, participants will be using a bird seed mix that may contain nuts.
