Exhibition: National Saturday Club Young Makers
12-17 August: an exhibition of work created at the Heritage and Rural Skills Centre by talented young people through the National Saturday Club scheme.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Over the last 9 months, a cohort of aspiring young creatives have been taking part in the National Saturday Club Craft and Making programme at the Heritage and Rural Skills Centre. During their time here, they tried their hands at a wide variety of crafts including lime plastering, blacksmithing, stained glass making, green woodworking, stone and wood carving and more. They also got out into the Coleshill landscape to get inspired. All of their work and learning culminated in the creation of a collaborative piece inspired by nature.
This exhibition invites you to see the work created, learn more about the Saturday Club scheme and celebrate the people who made it happen.
This exhibition takes place from 12 to 17 August, 10am-3.30pm in the Timber Store.
