Besom Making & Decorating Workshop

Celebrate the spirit of the season with a magical afternoon of creativity at the historic Hughenden Estate. In this adults-only workshop, you’ll craft your very own full-sized decorative besom broom.

  • Booking essential
  • Admission applies

You’ll be guided step-by-step as you assemble your broom using natural materials, then embellish it to reflect your style and spirit. Choose from:

Dried herbs and seasonal wildflowers (lavender, rosemary, eucalyptus & more)

Earth-toned or jewel-hued ribbons

Crystals to add sparkle, energy, and intention

Symbolic charms and trinkets

Whether you’re drawn to the broom’s symbolism or just love earthy, handmade decor, this workshop offers a beautiful moment to pause, reflect, and create something meaningful.
