Family “Dragon Eye Note Book” Workshop

Unleash your imagination at this Dragon Eye Notebook polymer clay workshop. In this hands-on creative session, you’ll design and build a fantasy dragon eye directly onto a hardback notebook, transforming it into a truly unique, magical journal.

What You’ll Make During the workshop, you’ll: Sculpt a dramatic dragon eye from polymer clay. Build layered dragon scales radiating out from the eye. Attach your design to the A5 hardback cover of a notebook. Finish with shimmering iridescent paints and mica powders for depth and shine.

Go bold and fearsome with a black and bronze dragon, or playful and magical with a friendly rainbow dragon — every notebook will be completely individual.

A Relaxed, Guided Creative Workshop No previous clay or art experience is needed.

Our friendly tutor will guide you step by step through: Eye sculpting techniques Creating textured, overlapping scales Attaching clay securely to the notebook cover Painting with iridescent finishes and mica for a magical glow

About the Venue: Hughenden Estate, National Trust This workshop takes place at the beautiful Hughenden Estate, a historic National Trust property in High Wycombe. Surrounded by woodland and rolling countryside, it’s a wonderful setting for an immersive, creative afternoon.

Families are welcome to enjoy the café before or after the session, or explore the house and gardens (National Trust admission applies for non-members).
