1-to-1 Cycling Lessons: Learn to Ride at Calke Explore

Join the team at cycle hire for a guided 1-2-1 lesson.

Whether you’re completely new to riding a bike or want some guided tuition to help you get back in the saddle if you’ve not cycled in a while, a trained member of the team will support you to feel confident on a bike.

The sessions are also suitable for children who are riding for the first time, provided they are accompanied by an adult.

Bikes and helmets are included at no extra cost, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

Suitable for ages 5+. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

What to bring and wear

Please dress for the weather, with no loose fabric that may get caught in the bike. Closed toe shoes with a good grip are preferable.

Accessibility

Teaching areas include Tramway Trail and overflow car park which are level terrain with some slopes. The surfaces are short grass and compacted gravel. The lessons are suitable for pedal bikes only.
